Pat Buss CV:

1996-2000: I competed in an indoor junior kart racing championship in Bristol. Numerous wins and fastest laps. 1999 - 2002: I was a member of the “BP Under 17 Car Club”. Whilst in the club I competed in various driving events, gaining many skills and awards.2002: I gained my “National B” racing licence in te summer of 2002, a few months prior to gaining my road driving licence! 2003: First trackday in a Lotus Elise Sport 190, Subaru Impreza and Ferrar1 F355 at Donnington Park. Tested a Formula Vauxhall Junior at Silvertone and competed in my first race in a Swift SC93 Formula Ford at Castle Combe. I also took part in numerous kart races with many wins.2005 - 2006: Built my own Seat Ibiza trackday car and took part in a number of trackdays whilst keeping my competitive spirit alive my successfully competing in yet more kart races. At the end of 2006 I also took part in the inaugural "Double Six Racing Scholarship".2007: Purchased a Van Diemen RF87 Formula Ford, rebult the car myself and ran the car at one race meeting and a couple of test days. This was the season that wasn't meant to be with various time and money constraints not to mention complications in dealing with some so called "experts" in the field of Formula Ford.2008: Competed in two rounds of the 750MC Golf GTi championship with Saxon Motorsport. Despite very little time in the car I proved to be a front runner from the outset. A possible podium was taken away at Anglesey due to a mechanical problem. I also entered a round of the "Tin Tops" endurance series at Castle Combe using the Golf GTi that I had been driving in the 750MC championship. Despite driving a car that was signficantly less powerfull and less developed than that of my competitors I finished 5th overall, beating a number of these more developed cars.2009: Competing in the 750MC Golf GTi championship with Saxon Motorsport.
